How to install HP Laserjet 1020 driver for Mac OSX?
Solved: hi, Does anybody know if ther is en existing driver for Laserjet 1020 on mac OS 10.12.6 (Sierra). I need it realy quickly. HP Printer Drivers v3.1 for OS X. That printer is not officially supported on mac anyways. Printer must be turned on and connected to your mac. Once installation completes, go to System Preferences LaserJet 1020. Click Use drop down menu, click on Select Printer Software. Hp laserjet 1020 driver free download - HP LaserJet Family PostScript Printer Driver, HP 4500 All In One Printer Driver, HP Precision Scan, and many more programs. HP LaserJet 1020 and 1022 printer series hostbased Plug and Play basic driver. The Plug and Play Bundle provides basic printing functions. Windows 8 Support.
HP Laserjet 1020 printer model is quite old and outdated and officially does not support Mac’s but there is a workaround if done correctly, you can use the printer with your Mac’s.
This is what you need to do.
- Download HP driver bundle https://support.apple.com/kb/dl907?locale=en_US
- Turn on the HP laserjet 1020 printer and connect to your Mac PC through USB cable.
- Add new printer select the plus sign.
- On the HP printers list select HP Laserjet 1022 (not 1020)
- Once installed print a test page.
The above trick should also work for HP Laserjet 1020 plus model in Mac.
